Sheikh Hamad Mohammed Khalid Al Thani

H.E. Sheikh Hamad Mohammed Khalid Al Thani is a prominent business and investment leader with a distinguished track record across banking, investment management, and real estate. He began his career at Qatar National Bank (QNB), building deep expertise in international credit and corporate finance. He joins QIC In 2017, worked in investment management during his time there he established QIC’s investment management business with AUM reaching USD 7 billion. As Chief Executive Officer of Mazaya Real Estate Development and Chairman of HMK Capital Investment Company, he leads strategic investment, institutional growth, and corporate transformation. His leadership has helped develop investment opportunities and enhance shareholder value within Qatar’s evolving economy. He also serves as a board member of leading listed companies, including Mazaya Real Estate Development NAKILAT, and Milaha Since 2022, Sheikh Hamad has served as CEO of Mazaya Real Estate Development, where he has driven the restructuring of the company and developed its new strategy. In addition to his executive role at Mazaya, he established HMK Capital, an investment management company registered in QFC, which launched the first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) fund in 2026.
