Basil Bachos

Basil Bachos is the Residential Sales and Marketing Director at United Development Company (UDC), where he leads the sales, leasing, marketing, brand, communications and public relations functions for The Pearl Island and Gewan Island, two of Qatar’s leading mixed-use destinations.

With more than 16 years of experience in real estate and development, Basil has played a key role in building and leading high-performing sales and leasing operations at UDC. His expertise includes sales and pricing strategy, marketing and brand development, customer financing solutions, revenue management, large-scale property handovers and integrated commercial planning.

Basil also represents UDC in its partnership with Corinthia at Gewan Island, overseeing the commercial positioning of the destination’s hospitality and lifestyle components, including the hotel, serviced villas, Yacht Club, Golf Club and Sailing Academy.

Throughout his career at UDC, he has contributed to the successful marketing and sale of premium residential developments and to strengthening the positioning of The Pearl Island and Gewan Island as distinguished residential, lifestyle and investment destinations.

Basil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Lebanese American University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
