Abdullatif Ali Al-Yafei

Abdullatif Ali Al Yafei Executive Director, Public Services at United Development Company (UDC), managing The Pearl and Gewan Island operations. He brings more than 25 years of leadership across diverse sectors such as real estate, oil & gas, and government with extensive expertise in leading large-scale Operations, Master Community management, Facilities Maintenance, Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Investment Management, and Organizational Development. His work emphasizes sustainability, environmental management, health, safety, security and environment (HSSE), business continuity, and community-centered green initiatives. Holds an MPhil in Business Administration, Executive MBA with Distinction, and BSc in Electronics and Control System Engineering. Certified Community Association Management.

Since 2011, he has served as a member of the Board of Trustees and General Manager of the Al-Faisal Without Borders Foundation for Charitable Works. Since 2014, he has also served as a member and secretary of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Qatari Classic Cars Association.

Mr. Al-Yafei was a member of the team that establish BCI Qatar Forum in 2014 and served as its Chairperson from 2015 to 2021. He chaired and organized BCI ME Conference 2015, founded and managed Business Continuity and Resilience conferences held in 2017, 2018, 2023 and 2025. In recognition of his contribution to the profession, the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) presented him with the 2018 Continuity and Resilience Industry Personality Award for the Middle East.
