Mr. Mohamed Al-Marri

Early in his career, Mohamed Al-Marri had been a journalist at Qatar’s Al-Sharq, Al-Watan, and Al-Raya newspapers, covering local affairs and supervising a number of special related publications (1998-2003).
At Sout Al Khaleej FM, he worked as a presenter for key radio shows, ending up as head of the station’s department of programs (2002-2010).
In 2007, he started presenting the “Your Choice” show, making interviews with Qatar government decisionmakers. He joined Al-Jazeera in 2010 as a newsreader, and later as a presenter for Al-Jazeera Morning Show (2017-present).
Mr. Al-Marri was an MC for many major international conferences and sports events, most notably COP 18 and Khaleeji 17.
He volunteered with Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) as Director of Communication and Public Relations in 2020, managing the visibility of many relief and fundraising campaigns to help affected nations.
