The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) is pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural edition of the Qatar Real Estate Award 2025.. This prestigious national award has been established to recognize exceptional achievements, celebrate visionary projects, and foster an environment of innovation within Qatar's real estate sector.
As a cornerstone of the Authority's strategy, the award aims to stimulate healthy competition, drive sustainable growth, and elevate industry standards in alignment with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Authority invites real estate developers, consulting firms, and contractors to submit nominations for pioneering projects that exemplify excellence in creativity, sustainability, and market impact.
General Requirements for All Categories
- A separate nomination form for each project.
- A comprehensive project brochure or profile.
- The project's master plan or design layout (for planned or multi-use projects).
- High-resolution logos for the project and the company (JPEG or PNG).
- 10 high-resolution images (interior and exterior).
- A short promotional video for the project (optional).
- All files must be submitted in both Arabic and English.
- The final submission deadline is October 7, 2025.
Award Categories
Best Residential Real Estate Project
- A detailed description of the quality of life elements and integrated services offered to residents.
- Project classification by building height (low-rise, mid-rise, high-rise).
- Ratio of green spaces to the total project area.
- Details of the available community services and amenities (e.g., security, facilities, recreational spaces).
- Connectivity and integration with public utilities and community services.
- Resident satisfaction metrics, if available.
Best Sustainable Urban Development Project
- Detailed architectural plans.
- Details of materials used for construction and finishes.
- Environmental certification such as GSAS or LEED, if available.
- Energy and water consumption efficiency reports.
- Description of implemented sustainable systems (e.g., water recycling, solar energy, eco-friendly building materials).
- The project's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study.
- Description of smart control systems (lighting, HVAC, security).
- The building's readiness for future technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence).
- Smart transportation and parking solutions.
- Connectivity and integration with public utilities and community services.
Best Commercial / Office Real Estate Project
- Description of the work environment provided within the project.
- Details of the digital infrastructure (internet connectivity, communication networks, smart systems).
- Building Management Systems (BMS), if available.
- Proximity of the project to business hubs or vital areas.
- Flexibility of the interior design to support productivity.
- Connectivity and integration with public utilities and community services.
Best Investment Real Estate Project
- A detailed economic feasibility study.
- Financial performance indicators and expected Return on Investment (ROI).
- Occupancy or sales rate.
- The project's contribution to local market development and job creation.
- Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plan and future expansion plans.
- Connectivity and integration with public utilities and community services.
