H.E. Mr. Majed Al-Hogail
Minister of Municipalities and Housing and Chairman of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA)His Excellency Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail serves as the Minister of Municipalities and Housing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Real Estate General Authority. He spearheads a comprehensive transformation across the housing and municipal sectors as part of Saudi Vision 2030.
Since assuming his post, His Excellency has overseen the launch and implementation of transformative programs and initiatives that have raised the rate of homeownership among citizens to over 65%, on track to reach the 70% target by 2030.
He has also organized and regulated the real estate market through an integrated legislative and institutional framework, which includes the establishment of the Real Estate General Authority and the activation of systems such as the “Ejar” program and the Real Estate Brokerage system, enhancing transparency and elevating the experience of investors and beneficiaries alike.
Al-Hogail is recognized as one of Saudi Arabia’s foremost leaders in urban transformation. He has launched programs to upgrade municipal infrastructure, improve quality of life in cities, and stimulate investment through financial sustainability and privatization initiatives. He also oversees strategic international partnerships in housing, real estate development, and urban technologies to connect the Kingdom with advanced global experiences and strengthen the attractiveness of the Saudi real estate market.
