Dr. Al Mohannadi graduated from Qatar University with a BSC. in Electrical Engineering in 1997.
– He received his MSc. from Qatar University in 2009.
– In 2016, Dr. Al Mohannadi received his PhD from France; dissertation entitled “A Model of Decision-Making Techniques for Major Projects – A Study of Qatari Railway Project.” Dr. Al Mohannadi’s professional career extends for more than 24 years as he has held many leading and managerial positions in the State of Qatar in various sectors including energy, transportation, and infrastructure. He held significant positions such as Electrical Network Planning Manager and Technical Affairs Director in Qatar Electricity and Water Company (Kahrama) and Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Railway Company (RAIL). In January 2017, Dr. Al Mohannadi has been appointed the President of Ashghal Public Works Authority, in the capacity of an undersecretary.
Dr. Al Mohannadi has a broad experience in the field of project management, urban planning and development, quality, efficiency, and public performance enhancement opportunities as well as introducing added values to the performance of institutions, which has qualified him to receive the membership of numerous distinguished national and regional committees.
