Eng. Faisal Al-Malki

Eng. Faisal Al-Malki is the Chief Operating Officer at Msheireb Properties, Qatar's leading sustainable property developer. He joined the organisation in 2015, during a period of significant growth in Qatar's real estate sector, drawn by its vision to change the way people think about urban living. With a background in other sectors, he adapted his skillset to make a significant contribution to the real estate industry.

During his tenure, he has led several key initiatives, most notably Phase 4 of Msheireb Downtown Doha. This phase, which integrated the Msheireb Main Metro station into the city, was completed on time and within budget, reflecting the team's dedication and his leadership.

Before joining Msheireb Properties, Eng. Al-Malki held senior positions at Qatar Petroleum, including Head of Projects at Ras Laffan Industrial City and Lead Project Engineer in the Onshore Engineering Department. He spearheaded the Ras Laffan Port expansion, now the world's largest hub for gas tankers. His portfolio also includes the New Port Control Tower at Ras Laffan Industrial City, the Safety College at LRC, and the jet fuel pipelines to Hamad International Airport, a project of great importance to the airport's operations.

Over his career, he has managed portfolios valued at more than QAR 40 billion, contributing to Qatar's national development. His expertise covers strategic leadership, operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.

Eng. Al-Malki holds a master's degree in business administration from Qatar University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tulsa, USA.
